Proofreading

  • Manuscripts
  • Company policies and procedures
  • Corporate bids and tenders
  • Company communications
  • And much more…

I ensure your work is 100% accurate.

English grammar can too often be overlooked. Yet to a reader a poor layout of sentence or incorrect grammar can make all the difference. In some instances, these small errors can even change the meaning of what the writer is trying to say.

My recommendations are shown using the Track Changes feature in Word. This gives you the opportunity to review all my proposed changes and accept or decline the recommended amendments.

If you are not familiar with the Track Changes feature, then I will be happy to talk you through the steps or send you instructions on where to find and how to accept/ decline changes using this feature.

Once you have reviewed the changes, if you would like the final document to be converted into PDF then I am happy to do this FOC. Converting the final document into PDF will prevent the recipient from being able to view previous track changes or make amendments.

What should be checked by a proofreader?

Any written communication that will be shared with an audience should be proofread.

No matter how large or small the audience is, if there is someone other than you reading it then having a proofreader check your work is essential.

First impressions count!
